Overview: 

Corruption is a serious challenge in both developed and developing economies. As Africa grows rapidly as it is now, so do the opportunities for corruption and fraud as many in opportune positions see it as opportunity. Studies show that over 70 % of corruption is committed by senior employees in management and those that have worked for the institution for a long time. Organizations hence have a serious challenge of ensuring institutional integrity considering that those trusted with most responsibility are more likely to engage in corruption.

This training focuses on identifying key interventions that management should consider their effectiveness in dealing with the challenge of corruption. There is no “one harm solves all” solution to corruption hence a lot of factors have to be considered in institutional response to the issue and that is what this course attempts to achieve. We shall look at prevention activities, detection and control framework to deal with corruption.

Target Audience: 

The course is designed for Financial and General Management, Internal audit managers, Security management, Fraud officers, Risk management professionals, Compliance officers and Consultants and IT officials. The course will be suited to professionals working in the private and in the public service.
