Overview: 

Project Management, Procurement and Project Financial Management (PPFM 01) is an advanced course program combining three main aspects of professional Project Management, advanced principles of procurement such as advanced skills in supply chain management such as sourcing, procurement and contract management as applied in project management. The last part of this training workshop brings about fundamental principles of accounting systems and project financial management

This training workshop is designed for participants who wish to build advanced skills, and competencies in all the above mentioned areas to bring about a complete Project professional. In this training workshop, ATI will provide knowledge project management processes, Work Packages, Cost and Project Cost Management, Project Procurement, the Project Cost Management Processes, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), including and not limited to Earned value management systems (EVMS).

This course is designed for Project personnel, Procurement Personnel, finance and Accounting personnel and other well-wishers who intend to broaden their knowledge in this field. 

Course Outcomes: 

Upon completing this workshop, the delegates should be able to:

 

  • Understand key concepts and fundamental project principles 
  • Understand the Project procurement management logical order and cycle
  • Understand project financial accounting and project financial management
  • Lay out the difference between project, program, and portfolio management
  • Understand the principles of Project Management body of knowledge (PMBOK)
  • Apply the project procurement and financial management  framework 
  • Deal with project management knowledge areas and project process groups
  • Prepare requests for quotes (RFQs), proposals (RFPs) and perform bids evaluation
  • Conduct project procurement for non and competitive procurement using SOW.
  • Measure project performance and success using Earned Value Analysis (EVA) methodology
